Group Product Manager - eCommerce

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Group Product Manager - E-Commerce to drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution for large-scale digital commerce and technology platforms. The role will focus on building scalable, reliable, and customer-centric e-commerce products across commerce platforms, payment capabilities, integrations, APIs, and platform services. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Roadmap: - Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for e-commerce and digital commerce platforms. - Translate customer, business, and technology requirements into clear product priorities and outcomes. - Drive product strategy across multiple products, platforms, and customer journeys. - Define product KPIs and success metrics around conversion, adoption, reliability, customer experience, and business impact. - Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities. E-Commerce Platform Development: - Own the evolution of scalable B2C e-commerce platforms and digital commerce journeys. - Drive product initiatives across discovery, product experience, checkout, payments, order journeys, and post-purchase experiences. - Build reusable platform capabilities that can support multiple products, channels, and markets. - Lead initiatives from 0-to-1 development through large-scale adoption and optimization. Payments & Transaction Platforms: - Define and drive product strategy for digital payment and transactional capabilities. - Work on payment capabilities including payment methods, gateways, processors, payment orchestration, refunds, settlements, and reconciliation. - Identify opportunities to improve payment success rates, authorization rates, conversion, reliability, and customer experience. Technical Product Leadership: - Work closely with Engineering and Architecture teams on complex technical product initiatives. - Demonstrate strong understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, cloud platforms, data flows, and system integrations. - Balance product requirements with scalability, reliability, performance, technical debt, and engineering effort. Product Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor Product Managers / Product Owners across multiple product initiatives. - Establish strong practices around product discovery, prioritization, experimentation, roadmap management, and outcome measurement. Required Skills & Experience: - 9 - 13 years of experience in Product Management, Technology Product Management, or a related product function. - Strong experience in E-Commerce, Digital Commerce, Consumer Technology, FinTech, Payments, or large-scale B2C products. - Proven experience owning product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end product delivery. - Experience building and scaling B2C digital products or e-commerce platforms. - Experience managing or mentoring Product Managers / Product Owners. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Business, or a related discipline. - MBA/PGDM or equivalent management qualification will be an added advantage.
