Lead SAP ABAP Developer Miejsce pracy: Kraków Technologies we use Expected • SAP ABAP • SAP HANA • SAP Fiori • Git About the project We are seeking a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to drive innovation, proof of concepts, and governance within our SAP S/4HANA projects. You will work closely with architects and consultants, focusing on clean code principles and leveraging new SAP technologies. Your responsibilities • Ensure robust ABAP delivery through quality assurance and governance of build standards • Design and develop proof of concepts (POCs) using ABAP, RAP, CDS views, OData, and Fiori/UI5 • Support Clean Core development practices to minimize modifications and maximize standard SAP extensibility • Review and approve technical designs, code, and configurations to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices • Explore and evaluate new SAP technologies such as RAP, CAP, SAP Build, Event-Driven Architecture, and Embedded Analytics for business applicability • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization support to implementation teams • Collaborate with solution architects and functional consultants to bridge innovation and delivery • Document POC learnings, reference architectures, and reusable components for project teams • Contribute to automation, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for SAP development Our requirements • Minimum 7 years of SAP ABAP/S/4HANA development experience with a focus on innovation and prototyping • Expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and performance tuning • Experience with RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) and CAP • Proficiency in Fiori/UI5 and OData services • Knowledge of BTP extensibility and cloud integration including Event-Driven Architecture, APIs, and Event Mesh • Deep understanding of S/4HANA extensibility concepts including in-app, on-stack, and side-by-side • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and test automation in SAP environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to coordinate implementation plans, operational tasks, escalations, and performance improvements • English language proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level Optional • Experience with SAP Build tools • Knowledge of SAP event mesh • Familiarity with Embedded Analytics • Background in software quality assurance practices • Understanding of enterprise-grade SAP governance frameworks What we offer We gather like-minded people: •Top tech minds driving innovation in AI, cloud and digital platform modernization •Supportive team and agile, startup-like culture •Hybrid by design mode and opportunity to work remotely within Poland •Chance to work abroad for up to 60 days annually •Business-driven relocation opportunities We provide growth opportunities: •Career development programs •Thought leadership, mentoring, soft skills and well-being programs •Certification (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS) •English classes We cover it all: •Stable pay •Participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15% discount •Benefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers) •Referral bonuses up to $2,000 •Offices featuring entertainment and relaxation zones, table tennis and football, free snacks, coffee and more •Corporate, social and well-being events Please, note: •Benefits listed above are available to employees only •We are open for working with Contractors.
