Description Job Title: Fieldwire Specialist Location: Houston, Texas (77086) Type: Full-time, Onsite (Manufacturing Facility) Reports to: Installation Operations Manager Hardman Signs is a national leader in architectural signage and graphics. We design, manufacture, install, and service high-impact signage solutions for commercial properties, multi-family housing, healthcare facilities, parking garages, and more. Job Summary The Fieldwire Specialist is the system owner and quality guardian for Fieldwire across all installation projects. This role ensures that plans, tasks, punch lists, RFIs, photos, and project documentation remain accurate, up-to-date, and usable by field crews and office teams in real time. The ideal candidate is highly meticulous, process-driven, and takes full ownership of data integrity so that our installation teams can work efficiently and safely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Own and maintain Fieldwire as the single source of truth for all active installation projects (plan version control, task creation/assignment, punch lists, RFIs, photo documentation, and daily reports). • Upload, organize, and version-control architectural drawings, site plans, and installation packages with extreme accuracy. • Create, assign, track, and close out tasks and punch lists in real time; ensure field crews have clear, current information. • Support field installers and lead installers with Fieldwire usage (mobile app, offline access, markups, photo capture). • Generate status reports, progress tracking, and exception reports for Installation Operations and Project Management. • Coordinate with Sales, Project Managers, Inventory, and Scheduling to keep project data synchronized. • Train new users and enforce consistent data standards and naming conventions. • Proactively identify and correct data gaps, outdated plans, or incomplete documentation before they impact field work. • Assist with process improvements that increase Fieldwire adoption and reduce rework. • Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with internal teams and external partners. Qualifications Education and Experience Required: • High school diploma or GED. • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, document control, field operations support, or administrative roles supporting field teams. • Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy with digital systems and project documentation. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort learning specialized software quickly. Preferred: • Direct experience with Fieldwire, Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, or similar construction field management software. • Previous experience in the signage, construction, or architectural products industry. • Familiarity with architectural drawings, site plans, and installation documentation. • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Extremely meticulous and organized — accuracy is non-negotiable. • Strong process ownership and accountability. • Clear written and verbal communication; able to support both office and field users. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure. • Comfortable training others and enforcing standards. • Common-sense problem solver who anticipates issues before they reach the field. Physical Requirements • Primarily office-based with occasional jobsite visits. • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. • Occasional ability to navigate active construction sites safely.
