Change Manager

The organisation is committed to delivering seamless and engaging digital experiences for its community through innovative technology, modern platforms and customer-focused services.As part of a major transformation portfolio, you will support the delivery of a large-scale Student Management System Replacement programme, helping to modernise critical systems and improve the overall user experience. Your new role As Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading the people side of change across a major technology transformation involving the replacement of legacy systems and the integration of multiple platforms. With some systems having been in place for more than 25 years, this role will require a strong understanding of both technical and business change impacts. Working closely with project teams, technical specialists and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between technology and the business. You will translate complex technical changes into meaningful business impacts, ensuring stakeholders understand what is changing, why it is changing and how it will affect them. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and delivering end-to-end change management strategies and plans. • Conducting stakeholder analysis, impact assessments and change readiness activities. • Designing and delivering communication, engagement and adoption initiatives. • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. • Supporting leaders to successfully transition teams through change. • Identifying and managing change risks, issues and resistance. • Driving adoption and embedding new ways of working across the business. • Collaborating closely with technical teams to understand integration impacts and dependencies. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Change Manager delivering complex technology-enabled transformation programmes.Demonstrated experience working on system integration, enterprise application, ERP, platform migration or large-scale digital transformation projects.Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, business-focused messaging.Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.Experience working within complex environments with multiple stakeholder groups.A hands-on approach with the ability to develop strategy whilst also supporting delivery activities.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.Desirable experience: • Previous experience working within higher education, government or other large and complex organisations. • Exposure to Student Management Systems or customer-facing digital transformation programmes. • Experience working within legacy technology environments undergoing modernisation.
