Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Job Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for KYC and client onboarding processes. • Work closely with Compliance, AML, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams. • Define BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. • Analyze and improve KYC/CDD/EDD processes and workflows. • Support customer onboarding, periodic reviews, remediation, and KYC data management. • Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and optimization. • Coordinate with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC. • Support UAT, defect analysis, and business validation. • Ensure solutions align with regulatory and internal compliance requirements. Required Skills • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services. • Strong hands-on experience in KYC / Client Onboarding / AML / CDD / EDD. • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills. • Experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Flows, and UAT. • Good understanding of banking operations, compliance, and regulatory processes. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred • Experience with KYC platforms, client lifecycle management, or regulatory technology. • Knowledge of SQL, data mapping, APIs, and system integrations. • Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
