Our client is searching for an experienced, full-time Office Manager to join their dynamic team in Kingsland. If you are a highly organised professional with a strong background in administrative operations, finance, and team support, this could be the perfect fit for you!
This is a full-time position that plays a vital operational role in ensuring the smooth running of our office facilities and supporting the wider business objectives.
As Office Manager, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations and finance, managing everything from facilities and budgets to staff support and vendor relationships. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction whilst working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
• Assisting with the planning and review of office services, including establishing priorities and service standards.
• Allocating staff, office space, equipment and other resources effectively.
• Assigning duties to staff and monitoring their performance.
• Maintaining accurate office records, accounts and financial documentation.
• Liaising with professionals to coordinate office operations and resolve issues
efficiently.
• Ensuring office equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Coordinating human resources activities, including recruitment, promotions,
performance management, payroll, staff training and supervision.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers, including the internal Project /Support Team and contractors
• Coordinate office meetings, events and logistics arrangements for staff and management
• Implement and maintain or improve office policies and procedures to promote efficient and professional operations What we're looking for
• Experience in a management & finance or similar administrative role,preferably in a busy commercial environment
• Proven experience in managing office operations, facilities coordination and administrative functions
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation
• Experience with budget management and financial control
• Ensure financial procedures comply with applicable accounting and taxation requirements
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and workplace compliance requirements
• Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to identifying process improvements
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Mature & strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and management
software systems
