Director/Vice President - Finance Transformation - Banking/Financial Services

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Leader to drive finance practice and transformation initiatives across Record-to-Report (R2R), FP&A, and broader CFO functions. This role partners with CFOs and finance leaders to solve business challenges, position AI-led solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes through effective solution selling. Primary responsibilities will be on Capability Building (develop new solutions / accelerators leveraging AI), Enable Growth (consultative selling / solutioning / pre-sales) and deliver transformation impact (drive / deliver projects which creates significant business impact). This opportunity is open to candidates based in Chennai or those who prefer a monthly hybrid model, with the flexibility to visit the Chennai office once or twice a month. The role also involves extensive travel across locations. Job Description: - Lead finance transformation programs spanning R2R, FP&A, close optimization, reporting, analytics, and decision support. - Engage with CFOs and finance leadership teams to identify transformation opportunities and define road maps. - Drive solutioning, consulting, and pre-sales activities for prospective clients and work closely with business development teams. - Build business cases and value realization frameworks. - Collaborate with delivery and technology to implement scalable solutions. - Design and development of agentic AI and platform-led finance transformation offerings esp in R2R and FP&A space. - Mentor teams and contribute to practice growth and capability development. Profile Description: - 15 - 25 years in Finance Transformation, Shared Services, GCC, Consulting, or BPO environments. - Strong expertise in R2R and FP&A processes. - Experience working with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Leadership Teams. - Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Infor. - Knowledge of AI, automation, analytics, and finance technology landscape. - Strong communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Must-Have Skills: - Record to Report (R2R) experience And / OR Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) / Management Reporting expertise. - Client-facing consulting capability or must have exposure to Practice / Solution Team. - Experience engaging CFOs and Controllers. - Finance process transformation background with strong technology acumen. - Strong communication and presentation skills.
