FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS MANAGER (8-10 yrs) @ METADOME.AI ABOUT METADOME: Metadome is a deep-tech company building deterministic 3D visualization, CAD-intelligence, and digital twin products for automotive and industrial OEMs. Headquartered in Bengaluru with a growing footprint in the US and the Middle East, we are scaling from a services-led business into a global, productized platform - and finance is central to making that transition disciplined and fundable. THE ROLE: We are hiring a hands-on Finance and Accounts Manager to own end-to-end finance operations across our Indian and US entities: accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, treasury, payroll, MIS, and financial reporting. You will work directly with the founders and our external CA/CPA partners, and you will play a mandatory, hands-on role in fundraising - investor data rooms, financial due diligence, and board reporting. This is a builder's seat. You will put in place the systems, controls, and reporting cadence of a company preparing for its next institutional round. WHAT YOU'LL OWN: 1. Controllership and Compliance: - Books of accounts and monthly close for the India entity; coordination with our US CPA on the US entity's books and filings - End-to-end statutory compliance: GST, TDS, ROC/MCA filings, and the annual compliance calendar - Payroll processing and employee compliance (PF, ESI, PT, gratuity) - Cross-border hygiene: intercompany agreements and reconciliations, transfer pricing documentation, FEMA/RBI filings - Statutory, tax, and internal audit coordination; internal controls and finance policies 2. Treasury and Working Capital: - Cash flow planning and treasury management across entities and currencies - Banking relationships, forex, and payment operations - Working capital discipline: receivables follow-through, vendor terms, and continuous runway tracking 3. Billing, AR/AP and Vendor Management: - Invoicing and collections for enterprise OEM customers across geographies - both milestone/project billing and subscription billing - Revenue recognition across services and product/subscription lines - Accounts payable, vendor onboarding, contract compliance, and dispute resolution 4. FP&A, MIS and Board Reporting: - Annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis with functional leaders - Monthly MIS and board packs on a fixed calendar - SaaS and services metrics: ARR, NRR, gross margin by revenue line, burn, and runway - Financial inputs for pricing and commercial decisions 5. Fundraising and Investor Relations (Mandatory): - Hands-on support for institutional fundraising: financial model, valuation inputs, and runway scenarios - Build and maintain a diligence-ready investor data room as a standing asset - Drive financial due diligence to close; coordinate founders, investors, auditors, company secretary, and legal counsel - Investor MIS and reporting cadence post-raise; cap table and ESOP administration support 6. Systems and Process: - Own the finance stack (accounting/ERP, payroll, expenses, billing) and automate manual workflows - Document SOPs so the function is audit- and diligence-ready by default MUST-HAVES: - 8 - 10 years in finance and accounts, including 3 - 5 years in a VC-funded SaaS or technology startup - Hands-on participation in at least one institutional fundraising round - data room, due diligence, and investor reporting. This is non-negotiable. - Strong command of Indian accounting standards, direct and indirect taxation, and corporate compliance - Experience running statutory audits and building internal controls - Fluency in SaaS metrics and startup finance - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets; hands-on with ERP and accounting tools (e.g., Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, NetSuite) STRONG TO HAVE: - CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent - Exposure to US entity accounting, US GAAP, or India - US cross-border structures and transfer pricing - Enterprise B2B billing across currencies and geographies - ESOP administration and cap table tooling WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YEAR ONE: - Monthly close and MIS run on a fixed, predictable calendar - A live, diligence-ready data room maintained continuously - not rebuilt as a fire drill before each raise - Clean statutory audits across entities, with no material findings - A rolling cash flow and runway model the founders use for real decisions - Zero missed statutory filings across the compliance calendar WHY JOIN: - A front-row seat at a deep-tech company selling to global OEMs, right at the inflection from services to product - Direct work with the founders and genuine ownership of the finance function - Real fundraising exposure - you are in the room for the raise, not formatting spreadsheets outside it BEFORE YOU APPLY - MANDATORY FILTER: Apply only if you have managed end-to-end Finance and Accounts at a SaaS/technology startup and personally worked on fundraising, investor due diligence, and investor reporting.
