Job Description

Description: Job Responsibilities - Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance for key Asia Pacific regulators (RBI, HKMA, MAS, APRA, etc.). - Complete fortnightly capital adequacy, CRR, and SLR reporting as required by RBI. - Manage monthly capital adequacy, P&L, and balance sheet reporting for Legal Entity Controllers. - Oversee quarterly capital adequacy submissions and survey-based reporting to local government statistical departments. - Supervise FR/FFIEC reporting, expense and revenue allocations, local regulatory submissions, and FX hedging. - Oversee daily and weekly monitoring of critical ratios, including capital adequacy, liquidity, FX, and large exposures. - Prepare and submit weekly financial statements and liquidity reports for selected balance sheet items. - Conduct quarterly P&L and balance sheet reporting, including onshore/offshore ratio-based analysis. - Analyze legal entity and line of business results, including variance analysis, booking validation, and transfer pricing compliance. - Partner with Financial Control, Tax, and other stakeholders on revenue allocation and transfer pricing updates, and work alongside regional controllers to resolve legal entity and line of business inconsistencies. - Drive process transformation by leveraging advanced technology solutions and partnering with strategic technology development teams to achieve sustainable process improvements. Required qualifications, skills and capabilities - CA, MBA, CFA, ACCA or CMA with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams. - Solid understanding of industry practices and accounting principles. - Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills. - Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills. - Familiarity with process transformation methodologies or automation solutions. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach. - Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial products. - Knowledge of SAP, Axiom, WDesk. - Knowledge of Alteryx, Qlik Sense, Python.
