Science Lab Assistant

Job Responsibilities • Assist teachers with Science lab setup, experiments, lesson materials and equipment. • Organise, monitor and maintain lab equipment and resources, ensuring proper safety practices. • Support General Office duties including reception, visitor management, mail/courier handling and attending to basic student/parent enquiries. • Assist with document/material sorting, packing, labelling and office inventory. • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the General Office and pantry areas. • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned. Requirements • Preferably 1 year of experience in a school environment, receptionist or Science Lab Technical Officer role. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently and in a team. • Able to communicate and write in English. Duration/Working hours: 1 year contract (Option to extend another year) (Jan 2026 to Dec 2027) Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays ** We regret to inform only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
