Technical Skills & Competencies: - Core Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of internal combustion engines, alternators, fuel control loops, and generator configurations. - Standards & Compliance: Mastery of local and international emission laws, ISO testing standards, and safety norms. - Acoustics & Airflow: Strong comprehension of fluid dynamics, noise suppression, and back-pressure limits in engine exhaust setups. - Value Engineering: Proven track record in BOM optimization and material selection to lower production costs without dropping product lifespan. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. - Experience: 12 - 15+ years of core engineering experience in power generation, capital equipment, or heavy rotating equipment manufacturing. - Leadership: Minimum 5 years in a senior manager, or department head role overseeing multi-disciplinary engineering teams. - Domain: Deep expertise in working with Genset OEMs, EPC infrastructure providers, or large industrial power plants.
