Lead - HR Operations - Manufacturing

About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on HR Operations Lead to own end-to-end HR operations for a distributed workforce of ~150 employees across 4-5 offices/locations in North India. Key Responsibilities: 1. Payroll & Compensation: - Own end to end monthly payroll processing across all offices in coordination with payroll vendor/finance. - Ensure accuracy of salary inputs - new joiners, exits, LOPs, reimbursements, variable pay, increments. - Manage full and final settlements within TAT. - Handle payroll reconciliation, TDS computation coordination with finance, and Form 16 issuance. - Address employee payroll queries and discrepancies. 2. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Shops & Establishment Act across all state jurisdictions. - Administer PF/EPS, gratuity trust, and other statutory benefit schemes. - Manage monthly/quarterly/annual statutory filings and remittances. - Coordinate audits - PF/ESI inspections, labour audits, statutory/internal audits. - Maintain compliance registers, licenses, and renewals per location. 3. Benefits & Insurance Administration: - Manage Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident, and Group Term Life insurance programs. - Handle employee enrollment, endorsements, claims support, and annual policy renewal/negotiation with brokers. 4. HRMS & Systems Management: - Own and administer the HRMS platform as system admin. - Ensure data integrity across employee master data, org structure, and reporting hierarchies. - Configure and maintain workflows: onboarding, leave, attendance, payroll integration, exit. - Generate dashboards and MIS reports for leadership. 5. Time & Attendance Management: - Administer attendance/leave policies consistently across offices, accounting for local holiday calendars and shift patterns. - Manage biometric/attendance system integration with HRMS and payroll. - Monitor attendance anomalies, regularization requests, and leave balances. 6. Employee Lifecycle & Multi-Location Operations: - Manage onboarding and offboarding processes uniformly across all 4-5 offices. - Maintain employee records, personal files, and documentation per statutory requirements. - Coordinate with local office admins/facilities for location-specific HR needs. - Support background verification process coordination. - Manage relationships with payroll vendors, compliance consultants, insurance brokers, BGV agencies. Job Specs: Experience: 6 - 11 Years in HR Operations. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. - Strong working knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus Act, and Shops & Establishment Act across multiple states. - Hands-on payroll processing experience. - HRMS administration experience. - Insurance/benefits administration.
