Accountant

Accountant Roeselare, Belgium I’m currently recruiting for a Finance Accountant to join the Belgian Finance team of a well-established, international consumer goods group based in Roeselare . This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who wants to develop beyond day-to-day accounting and build a long-term career within an international Finance function. The role: You’ll play an important role in the Belgian Finance team while working across multiple entities within the wider group . Your responsibilities will include: • Managing and processing supplier invoices and accounts payable • Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closings • Preparing VAT, corporate tax and Intrastat declarations • Supporting external audits • Contributing to financial reporting across multiple entities • Improving and streamlining finance processes • Supporting the implementation of new ERP systems and finance tools • Taking on increasing responsibility as you develop What we're looking for • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • Relevant accounting experience • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes • Excellent Excel skills • Experience with an ERP system • Fluent Dutch and English • Structured, accurate and hands-on approach • Someone who takes ownership and wants to grow with the business Why consider it? • International environment with exposure to multiple entities and countries • Genuine opportunity to grow into a broader group reporting role • Direct exposure to an experienced Finance team • Flexible working environment • Strong learning and development opportunities • Long-term career progression within a growing international organisation • Up to €5,000 Location: Roeselare, Belgium Type: Permanent Interested in finding out more?
