Data Analyst - Liquidity Regulatory Reporting - BFSI

Role Overview: The LIQ_PBR Data Analyst will serve as a critical bridge between complex regulatory requirements and actionable data insights within the Treasury and Risk functions. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of liquidity regulatory reporting, ensuring that data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness meet global banking standards. You will collaborate extensively with Treasury desks, Risk Management teams, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data models. By driving the automation of reporting processes and performing deep-dive reconciliations, you will directly influence the firm's capital adequacy decisions and ensure seamless compliance with Basel III and other liquidity risk frameworks, ultimately safeguarding the organization's financial stability. Key Responsibilities: - Execute complex liquidity regulatory reports by synthesizing large datasets to ensure full compliance with internal and external audit requirements. - Develop and maintain sophisticated SQL-based data pipelines to streamline the extraction and transformation of Treasury data for risk analytics. - Perform rigorous reconciliation between source systems and reporting platforms to identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring high-quality regulatory submissions. - Partner with cross-functional teams to implement Basel-compliant liquidity metrics, including LCR and NSFR, to support informed decision-making by senior leadership. - Design and deploy Business Intelligence dashboards that provide real-time visibility into liquidity positions and risk exposure for stakeholders across the bank. - Lead the documentation of data lineage and business logic to ensure transparency and audit readiness across all liquidity reporting workflows. Required Skillset: - Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in SQL and data management tools to manipulate and analyze large-scale financial datasets effectively. - Exhibit a strong grasp of Basel III liquidity frameworks, Asset Liability Management (ALM) principles, and banking operations to interpret regulatory changes accurately. - Possess the ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across global teams. - Showcase a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment across Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, or Kolkata. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail when managing reconciliation processes, ensuring zero-error delivery in high-stakes regulatory environments. - Hold a relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering, complemented by a track record of delivering high-impact projects within the banking sector. - Adapt seamlessly to evolving regulatory landscapes, demonstrating the intellectual agility to integrate new reporting requirements into existing data architectures.
