Inventory data & cost analyst

Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and improve inventory health by analyzing inventory statistics to identify fast- and slow-moving products. • Configure replenishment system parameters, including item master data, SKU records, min/max levels, and supplier item information. • Review, analyze, and validate weekly inventory purchase orders before submission. • Conduct in-depth analysis of a wide range of inventory reports, historical inventory data, and national purchasing trends. • Provide guidance and support to Buyers and Warehouse personnel. • Perform regular inventory analyses and cycle count reviews. • Prepare inventory reports documenting stock levels, variances, and key performance metrics. • Present inventory statistics to management and recommend improvements to inventory control processes. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and receiving issues. • Develop and maintain inventory databases and systems to ensure accurate inventory management and reporting.
