Senior Business Data Analyst AML/KYC Location: Brussels, Belgium Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months Start Date: ASAP Experience: 810 years Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst to support AML initiatives and lead business analysis activities from ideation through delivery. The role involves requirements management, data analysis, solution definition, testing, reporting, and close collaboration between business and technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Lead business analysis activities from ideation through delivery. • Develop business cases and gather, manage, and maintain requirements with full traceability. • Analyse existing data flows, user roles, and data usage. • Identify data quality issues and define appropriate target solutions. • Develop use cases in collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, and Subject Matter Experts. • Support product, performance, and UAT testing. • Contribute to data architecture and solution validation. • Create and support reporting and dashboards. • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. • Manage multiple stakeholders, requirements, and priorities throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience • 810 years of relevant experience. • Strong Business Analysis and Data Analysis experience. • Strong understanding of data concepts , including Big Data, BI, reporting, and dashboarding. • Strong SQL skills. • Knowledge of conceptual modelling techniques and methods. • Understanding of IT testing. • Strong stakeholder, project, and requirements-management skills. • Experience working with Agile methodologies , including backlog management, sprint planning, and MVP approaches. • Proficiency in MS Office . • Dutch: Good proficiency. • French: Good proficiency. • English: Strong spoken and written proficiency. Nice to Have • Familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide . • Knowledge of the banking or insurance domain. • Familiarity with AML/KYC and compliance concepts.
