Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: • Hands-on technical experience in configuring and administering the NEC system. • Proven track record building, testing, and deploying multiple system modules simultaneously. • Deep knowledge of user permission structures, security profiles, and automated workflow logic. • Strong background in data mapping, import/export schema configuration, and environment release management. Responsibilities: • Lead the technical setup, workflow automation, and multi-module customisation of the NEC system to deliver robust digital solutions for council operations. • Translate functional requirements into scalable system setups, automated workflows, and secure access permissions. • Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to build, test, and release configuration packages across multi-environment pipelines. • Execute technical system setups and customisations across multiple NEC system modules based on functional specifications. • Build and maintain automated workflows, business rules, custom fields, data validation logic, and lookup tables. • Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), user permissions, security profiles, and core environment settings. • Author, maintain, and version-control comprehensive technical documentation, including configuration logs, environment setup guides, data dictionaries, and release notes. • Map and configure data loads, import/export schemas, interface templates, and system integration points. • Package and manage configuration migrations safely across development, test, staging, and production environments. • Perform unit testing and validation checks prior to handing solutions over for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration defects, system errors, and performance bottlenecks. • Partner with Business Analysts and Developers to refine functional specs into repeatable, scalable configuration steps.
