IT Executive

Position: IT Executive Location: Biopolis Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm) Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 + AWS + Medical Benefits Duration: Permanent Industry: Biotechnology Main Responsibilities: Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to optimise business processes across departments.

Maintain IT hardware, software, user accounts, assets and system access. Provide end-user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues. Support IT security, access controls, data protection and relevant internal policies.

Work with business users to identify technology needs and recommend practical solutions. Support development and maintenance of internal systems, dashboards, workflow tools and automation solutions. Guide users on the responsible use of AI-enabled tools and prepare relevant documentation.

Coordinate IT projects, system enhancements and implementation activities. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Monitor developments in cybersecurity, automation, AI and emerging technologies. Perform other related IT duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline. At least two to three years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration or corporate IT. Good knowledge of hardware, software, networking, user-access management and IT infrastructure.

Familiar with cybersecurity, data-protection and IT governance practices. Exposure to workflow automation, dashboards, low-code tools or AI-enabled applications would be advantageous. Good troubleshooting, analytical and project-coordination skills.
