Associate Accountant

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor s/ Master s degree in Accounts or Finance i.e. commerce discipline • 0-1 years experience in Finance/Accounting • Strong Excel skills and solid proficiency in other MS application • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills • Must work collaboratively and possess a strong work ethic • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment • Attention to detail and quality; highly organized PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in accounting processes for the department including tax filings, cash entry and reconciliation, expense reporting, lease management, and more. • Assist in general accounting functions including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and sub-ledger reconciliations. • Assist in maintaining and updating documentation of accounting department policies and procedures. • Participate in the annual financial audit process including interactions with internal and external auditors. • Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
