Vice President - Land Acquisition & Government Relations - Mining

Key Responsibilities: - Lead large-scale land acquisition activities for mining and infrastructure projects. - Develop and execute land acquisition strategies aligned with project timelines and requirements. - Manage government liaison and coordination with relevant government authorities. - Drive statutory approvals, permits, clearances, and regulatory requirements for project execution. - Build and maintain strong relationships with District Administration, Revenue, Forest, Mining Departments, and State Government authorities. - Coordinate with Gram Panchayats, local communities, landowners, and other local stakeholders. - Manage community engagement initiatives and address stakeholder concerns during land acquisition and project execution. - Support mining project execution by ensuring timely completion of land-related activities and statutory requirements. - Coordinate with internal project, legal, compliance, and technical teams. - Identify and resolve land acquisition, regulatory, and stakeholder-related challenges. - Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government processes. - Provide regular updates to senior management on land acquisition progress, approvals, risks, and stakeholder matters. Required Candidate Profile: - Relevant experience in Land Acquisition and Government Relations. - Strong experience in Mining and Infrastructure projects. - Proven expertise in large-scale land acquisition. - Strong experience in government liaison and statutory approvals. - Established relationships with District Administration, Revenue, Forest, Mining Departments, and State Government authorities. - Experience engaging with Gram Panchayats, local communities, landowners, and other stakeholders. - Strong understanding of land-related regulations, government processes, and statutory requirements. - Experience supporting mining project execution. - Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Strong local relationship-building and government-interface capabilities.
