Financial Controller - Power Industry - CA

Key Responsibilities: - Lead financial controllership activities across all Energy entities. - Ensure accurate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. - Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations. - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, MIS, and management reports. - Drive disciplined working capital management and optimize cash conversion. - Monitor cash flows and coordinate with Treasury teams to ensure adequate liquidity. - Oversee cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and funding requirements. - Lead internal and external audit activities and ensure timely closure of audit observations. - Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, processes, and governance frameworks. - Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements. - Identify financial and operational control risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. - Review financial performance and provide insights to senior management. - Drive standardization and continuous improvement across accounting and controllership processes. - Coordinate with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Audit, Legal, and business teams on financial matters. - Ensure strong financial governance and integrity across all Energy entities. Required Candidate Profile: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory. - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial controllership, audit, accounting, and financial reporting. - Strong experience in financial controllership within large or complex organizations. - Proven expertise in accounting, AR/AP, financial reporting, and MIS. - Strong knowledge of working capital management and cash-flow management. - Experience in Treasury coordination and liquidity management. - Strong exposure to internal controls, audit, governance, and regulatory compliance. - Excellent analytical, leadership, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of financial governance and risk management.
