Senior System Administrator

Perform operations and maintenance of server and storage hardware, including installation, configuration, health monitoring, fault handling, firmware upgrades, and lifecycle management.

Administer and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring system availability, performance, stability, and compliance with security baselines.

Perform platform-level administration of middleware and database systems, including installation, configuration, standardization, routine maintenance, monitoring, and patching, and coordinate with application teams to support system connectivity and integration requirements.

Administer and support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, as well as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms including Horizon View, covering provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Administer and maintain enterprise backup systems, including backup configuration, scheduling, monitoring, capacity management, and restoration support to ensure data protection and recoverability.

Perform capacity management, baseline management, and regular infrastructure health checks, identify potential risks, and support proactive remediation activities. Perform basic Database administrator role for Oracle, SQL Server and MySql, such as installation, patching and fine tuning etc.
