**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **IT Analyst Applications (Java Developer)** to join **Order Fulfillment & Procurement - Cat IT Division** team. The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting business-critical Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java development expertise, experience with enterprise application support, and a willingness to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

The preference for this role is to be based out of **Bangalore - Caterpillar PSN** **This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule. ** **Shift Timing : 01:00-10:00PM IST** **Key Responsibilities** + Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.

+ Support Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales applications across development and production environments. + Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Develop APIs, integrations, and backend services for enterprise platforms.

+ Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. + Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams. + Participate in application modernization, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. + Support application deployments, testing, and release activities. + Contribute to Agile development processes and sprint delivery. **Required Technical Skills** + 3 to 5 years of experience in Java application development.

+ Strong knowledge of: + Java 25 + Spring Boot + RESTful APIs + SQL and Database Development + Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) + Microservices Architecture + Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or similar relational databases. + Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

+ Experience working with cloud platforms and enterprise integrations is preferred. + Understanding of application support and incident management processes. **Preferred Skills** + Experience with Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sales business applications.

+ Knowledge of integration technologies such as SnapLogic, APIs, or messaging platforms. + Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, or enterprise data platforms. + Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. + Experience supporting global business applications and stakeholders.
