Point C is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team.

Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will serve as a key member of the Accounting Department and play an essential role in maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting custodial account operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and experience managing cash activity, reconciliations, and client or custodial accounts.

This position requires the ability to analyze financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and collaborate closely with operations, client service, and management teams.

Primary Responsibilities: Prepare monthly reconciliations and analysis of custodial accounts, ensuring accurate recording of client assets, cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and balances.

Monitor custodial account activity, investigating and resolving discrepancies or reconciling items in a timely manner.

Ensure all custodial transactions are properly documented, authorized, and recorded in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements, supporting the safeguarding of client assets through strong internal controls.
