Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism General Tax Consulting Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary A career in our growing Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, within our Tax Line of service, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients in various industries to meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever-changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis and M&A tax solutions. Our team helps our clients with various aspects of merger and acquisition transactions such as transaction structuring, tax due diligence, internal reorganizations, and post-acquisition integration. As part of our team, you’ll have opportunities to assist with assessing historical tax risks of potential targets, analyzing proposed transactions for unusual tax risks or undetermined tax benefits, advising clients on tax-efficient restructurings, and performing financial analysis / modeling to assess the tax consequences of specific transactions. Whatyou’llbring • Over 5 years of proven and practical experience in M&A Tax.Keen interest on Technology and AI. • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences,developingand coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard. • Ability to work in a multitasked,fast pacedand changing environment. • Excellent capacity to take initiatives and to take ownership of a project. • Ability to think creatively, solve complex problems,determineinnovativesolutionsand communicate with impact. • Superior communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment • Experience in corporate and/or international tax research,Cross-border transactions/orconsulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, governmentagencyor law firm is an asset • A commitment to providing excellent client service and pride in delivering top quality work. • CPA, CA designation is an asset. Completion of theM.TaxProgram or In-Depth is astrong asset. • When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French isrequired. The salary range for this position is $128,900 - $178,900. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
