Senior Analyst, FP&A

Position Overview Reporting to the Director, FP&A at RCL – Reitmans Canada Limited, the Senior Analyst, FP&A supports financial planning and analysis across the organization. This is an opportunity to build your FP&A experience within an evolving retail environment, working with teams across Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and E-commerce to provide financial insights and support business decisions. In this role, you will go beyond traditional reporting by supporting forward-looking analysis, contributing to key financial processes, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings an analytical mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, with the ability to turn financial data into clear insights that support business decisions. Key Responsibilities • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with business teams to consolidate inputs, maintain accuracy, and understand key business drivers. • Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and planning, while helping translate financial data into meaningful insights. • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, analyze variances, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across sales, margins, and other key performance indicators. • Partner with teams across Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and E-commerce to understand business needs and provide financial analysis that supports day-to-day and longer-term decisions. • Prepare management reporting and contribute to improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to make information clearer, more efficient, and easier to use.
