Service Administrator – Mental Health NEW SERVICE OPENING IN NOVEMBER – Willow Rise, Droylsden (Manchester) Start Date Anticipated - 2nd November Location: Droylsden, Manchester Pay: £13.75 per hour (£15.25 per hour overtime) Hours: Part-Time – 20 Hours Per Week Be Part of Something New From Day One Active Pathways is coming to Manchester! This September, we are proud to open Willow Rise , our brand-new residential mental health rehabilitation service in Droylsden. We're looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Service Administrator to become a key member of our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help establish a new service from the very beginning, supporting colleagues, residents, and managers while helping to create a culture of excellence from day one. As the first point of contact for many people entering the service, you'll play a vital role in ensuring Willow Rise operates smoothly, professionally, and efficiently. Whilst others may be delivering care directly, you'll be the person helping everything behind the scenes run seamlessly. At its core, Willow Rise represents: • Willow - healing, flexibility, and emotional grounding • Rise - progress, empowerment, and the belief that everyone can move forward The Best Bits • Annual leave of 25 days (pro-rata), plus Bank Holidays • Refer a Friend scheme – earn up to £500 per referral • Health Cash Plan – covers dental, optical, virtual GP, counselling, and includes discounted gym membership • Workplace pension scheme • Free Blue Light Card membership • Free enhanced DBS checks, on-site parking, and lunch (for site-based roles) • Ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities What You’ll Be Doing As Service Administrator, you will: • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support across the service • Support recruitment activities, including vacancy management, interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding processes • Assist with HR administration, maintaining databases, personnel records, audits, and compliance documentation • Coordinate meetings, MDTs, governance forums, and minute-taking activities • Support payroll, rota administration, annual leave records, and reporting processes • Manage purchase orders, invoices, petty cash, and stock ordering activities • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for colleagues, residents, visitors, and external professionals • Support the implementation and development of digital systems and processes within the service What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone who: • Has previous administration experience in a busy, fast-paced environment • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Can effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines • Has strong IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems • Communicates professionally and builds positive working relationships • Demonstrates discretion and handles confidential information appropriately • Enjoys working as part of a team while also being able to work independently • Shares our passion for supporting outstanding services and positive outcomes Build Your Career With Us At Active Pathways, we know that great services are built on great teams.
