Job Description

- Data Analyst: Position: Data Analyst Experience: 4 - 5 Years Location: Chandigarh Work Mode: Work From Office (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and technical skills along with excellent communication skills and prior experience working directly with US customers/stakeholders. This role requires someone who can independently participate in customer discussions, understand business requirements, analyze data, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities. - Work closely with US customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. - Participate directly in customer-facing calls and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations. - Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools. - Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data. - Work with data from multiple sources, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes. - Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reports. - Identify data quality issues and work with Data Engineering and Product teams to resolve them. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Engineering, and Customer-facing teams. - Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports based on customer and business requirements. - Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Document business logic, KPIs, data definitions, and analytical processes. - Contribute to improving reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making processes. - Leverage AI-assisted analytical tools responsibly while validating outputs and ensuring data accuracy and security. Must-Have Skills & Experience: - 4 - 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst / Business Data Analyst / BI Analyst. - Strong hands-on experience with SQL. - Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Reporting, and Dashboard Development. - Experience working with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. - Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, business reporting, and analytical methodologies. - Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks. - Good understanding of ETL/ELT and data pipelines. - Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Customer-Facing Experience - Mandatory: - Prior experience working directly with US customers/stakeholders is mandatory. - Must be comfortable participating in and leading customer-facing discussions and calls. - Excellent English communication and presentation skills. - Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into clear analytical requirements. - Ability to explain data, reports, dashboards, and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Comfortable handling customer questions, follow-ups, and requirement clarification independently. - Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. Good to Have: - Experience in FinTech, Mortgage, Banking, or Financial Services. - Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. - Exposure to Python/Pandas for data analysis. - Knowledge of AWS data services. - Understanding of Apache Spark or modern data platforms. - Experience with data lakes and modern data architecture. - Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality frameworks. - Experience working with US mortgage/lending data is an added advantage. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who combines strong SQL and analytical skills with excellent customer-facing communication. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with US customers, understanding their business problems, analyzing data, and presenting actionable insights.
