SR PRODUCTION PLANNER

Job Overview The Sr. Production Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating,and maintaining production plans to ensure customer requirements are metefficiently, on time, and within agreed quality and cost targets.

The roleworks closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement,Quality, Engineering, and other stakeholders to optimize production schedules,material availability, capacity utilization, and inventory levels.

The position requires strong planning and analytical skills, with theability to manage multiple priorities, identify potential productionconstraints, and implement effective solutions to support operationalexcellence and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules based on customer demand, forecast requirements, inventory levels, and available production capacity. Translate demand requirements into achievable production schedules while considering manpower, equipment, materials, and manufacturing capacity.

Monitor production progress and identify potential delays, capacity constraints, material shortages, and other risks impacting delivery. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure production plans are executed effectively.

Review MRP requirements and ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and other production requirements. Optimize production schedules to improve capacity utilization, throughput, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.

Manage changes to production priorities and schedules in response to customer requirements, material availability, operational constraints, and business priorities. Track production performance against the plan and provide regular status updates, reports, and performance analysis to management.
