Senior Role - Technical Marketing & Product Approvals - Steel & Infrastructure

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Technical Marketing & Product Approvals leader to spearhead our market penetration strategy within the steel and infrastructure sector in Hyderabad. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering specifications and commercial success by securing critical product approvals from government bodies, consultants, and major infrastructure developers. You will operate at the intersection of technical advocacy and business development, working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and supply chain to ensure our product portfolio meets evolving industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the end-to-end product approval process with key infrastructure stakeholders, including government departments, consultants, and EPC contractors, to ensure seamless inclusion in project tenders. - Develop and execute technical marketing strategies that highlight the unique value proposition of our steel products, translating complex technical data into compelling narratives for decision-makers. - Build and nurture long-term relationships with industry influencers, structural consultants, and regulatory authorities to stay ahead of changing building codes and infrastructure requirements. - Lead technical seminars and workshops for architects and engineers to establish our technical authority and influence project specifications at the design stage. - Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts to provide actionable insights to the product development team, ensuring our offerings remain compliant and market-leading. - Oversee the preparation of high-quality technical documentation, white papers, and case studies that validate product performance and reliability for high-stakes infrastructure projects. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in navigating the technical approval ecosystem for steel or heavy infrastructure products, with a proven track record of securing major project specifications. - Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, coupled with the gravitas to influence senior-level decision-makers and government officials. - Strong analytical mindset to interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and regulatory standards to identify opportunities for product integration. - Proven leadership capability in managing high-stakes stakeholder relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet aggressive project timelines. - A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is highly preferred, complemented by a deep understanding of the Indian infrastructure and construction landscape. - Ability to thrive in a high-impact, on-site environment in Hyderabad, maintaining a proactive approach to market engagement and client networking. - Minimum of 10 years and up to 17 years of professional experience in technical marketing, business development, or product management within the steel or allied infrastructure industries.
