Principal UX Designer for Shopping

Salary: £60,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements: • We require 10+ years of design experience • We require an available online portfolio • We require experience with best practices for user interface design, information architecture, and interaction design • We require experience in lifecycle design projects from design strategy through execution • We prefer experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data • We prefer experience prototyping with AI tools Responsibilities: • We create world-class, user-centered designs informed by UX research, market research, behavioral data, and internal stakeholder feedback • We work with Science and Editorial teams to help train the LLM to generate content that matches the intention of the designs • We demonstrate leadership in driving design processes into the organization that help refine strategy • We translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements • We design the interface and interaction flow of new features using Figma, other prototyping tools, and AI tooling for rapid idea generation • We develop and maintain detailed design specifications • We present design work to the user experience team, product team, engineering team, Amazon leadership, and external partners for review and feedback • We develop high-level strategy for customers for both near and long term Technologies: • AI • Figma • Flow • LLM • UX UI Design • Support • Security More: We are building new features for Amazons AI shopping assistant, pushing beyond the bounds of what Alexa can do today to solve real customer problems in new ways. This role requires an inventors spirit, a strong understanding of interaction design, and the ability to work quickly across multiple projects in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment. We collaborate closely with conversation designers, UX designers, researchers, product management, engineering, science, and operational teams from early product concepts through launch.
