Solution Architect, Assistant Vice President

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in a technical field • Strong understanding of enterprise software architectures, APIs, integrations, and data models • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and geographies • Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy considerations • Experience influencing product roadmaps or participating in beta programs • Prior client-facing consulting experience Responsibilities: • Partner with Sales to support the full sales lifecycle, from discovery through deal close • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client business goals, workflows, and constraints • Design and present solution architectures, demos, and proof-of-concepts aligned to client needs • Clearly articulate value propositions, differentiators, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires with accurate and compelling technical content • Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs, including integrations, data flows, and deployment models • Ensure solutions align with product capabilities, security standards, and scalability requirements • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early and propose mitigation strategies • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on client feedback • Work closely with Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and Professional Services • Support handoffs from Sales to Delivery, ensuring solution intent and scope are clearly documented • Contribute to sales enablement materials, reference architectures, and demo best practices • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned domains, products, or industries Technologies: • AWS • Azure • Cloud • GCP • Support • Security • Architect More: We are State Street, and we help institutional investors around the world manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
