Job Description
Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year
Requirements:
• We need a service designer with strong UX ability and at least 8+ years of experience across varied users, business problems, and devices.
• We need someone who can lead projects with multiple designers and coach and grow more junior team members.
• We value experience leading client engagements with senior stakeholders or small teams as part of larger programmes.
• We need expertise in planning and conducting customer research and collaborative workshop activities.
• We need proficiency in synthesising quantitative data from multiple sources to identify opportunities and translate them into delivery-ready requirements.
• We need strength in understanding quantitative data to define appropriate KPIs for business, operational, and user experience metrics of success.
• We are looking for excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in front of clients and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• We value curiosity and experience with emerging technologies, including generative and agentic AI, and designing human-AI interactions.
• Bonus experience may include user experience, strategic foresight or trend analysis, brand identity and brand strategy, digital marketing or marketing strategy, change management, operational improvement and metrics consulting, and digital services or experiences that use AI, automation, or other emerging technologies.
• We require that you are security clearable. Responsibilities:
• We will have you drive change with stakeholders while also acting as a practitioner to guide the team and deliver the work.
• We will have you lead projects with senior stakeholders, combining service design, user research, analytics, and product design.
• You will shape project plans, client workshops, senior-level client engagement, user research synthesis, service blueprints, data analysis, KPI definitions, delivery-ready roadmaps, and requirements.
• You will ensure the work is grounded in a deep and contextual understanding of the people we are designing for.
• You will bring a human-centred perspective to AI-enabled transformation, designing for AI and designing with AI.
• You will manage design research relationships with partners and clients, or work alongside our research team.
• You will manage all service design activities at the project level.
• You will help evolve and innovate our Service Design practice by bringing in new learnings and creating new methods and ways of working.
• You will give effective feedback and direction to more junior members of the team and assess performance accurately.
• You will act as a Tangity/NTT DATA Design ambassador by attending and helping to plan studio and community events, workshops, and internal initiatives.
• You may also participate in professional industry groups, conferences, and publications. Technologies:
