Job Description

Your Role This is a key role within the Professional Services organization , with significant exposure across customers, Product and Engineering. As a Solution Architect, you will be the technical backbone of customer implementations , bringing together business understanding, technical expertise and customer-facing skills. We are not looking for a Solution Architect who only operates at a high level or focuses exclusively on architecture diagrams. We are looking for a true all-rounder who can understand the customer’s business challenges, translate them into technical solutions, go deep into architecture and integration topics, and confidently engage with both business and highly technical stakeholders. You will be expected to move seamlessly between different levels of discussion: understanding a business requirement with a customer, challenging an integration approach with their architects, supporting implementation teams on a technical issue, and discussing product limitations or future capabilities with Product and Engineering. You will own the architectural consistency of customer implementations and ensure that technical decisions are not only well designed, but also properly executed throughout the project lifecycle. As the new platform continues to grow and customer implementations scale, the importance and scope of this role are expected to increase significantly over time. About You Above all, we are looking for a versatile and pragmatic technical profile , a true all-rounder. You combine three dimensions that are essential to succeed in this role: Business understanding You are able to quickly understand how the customer’s business works, identify the underlying requirements and translate them into relevant technical decisions. Technical depth You are comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, integrations, data flows, cloud environments and custom development. You can go deep enough to challenge technical teams and make informed architecture decisions. Customer-facing skills You know how to communicate with customers, lead technical discussions and build credibility with experienced IT stakeholders and enterprise architects. You can explain, challenge and defend your recommendations when needed. You are equally comfortable zooming out to define the overall architecture and zooming in to solve a concrete implementation problem . You also thrive in environments that are still being built. You do not need every process, standard or responsibility to be perfectly defined before taking ownership of a topic. You are resourceful, autonomous and comfortable finding solutions in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience within the insurance industry is a strong advantage, with credit insurance experience being particularly valuable. Why Join? This is one of the key hires for the Professional Services organization . The company is at an important stage in the development and rollout of its new platform. As a result, the architecture decisions made today will have a direct impact not only on individual customer projects, but also on how future implementations are delivered at scale. You will join at a time when there is still significant room to shape the way things are done . Through your exposure to real customer implementations, you will be able to identify recurring technical challenges, influence architecture standards and provide direct input to Product and Engineering teams as the platform evolves. In the short term, you will become a key technical reference for complex customer implementations. In the longer term, as the platform matures and the number of implementations grows, your role will become increasingly strategic in defining architecture standards, scalable implementation patterns and the way Professional Services delivers the platform globally. This is therefore not simply another Solution Architect position: it is an opportunity to build, influence and progressively shape a critical technical function within the organization. Recruitment Process The recruitment process includes: • A technical interview • A take-home technical case study • A technical presentation and discussion around the case • Final interviews with key members of the team and leadership Requirements We are looking for a versatile and pragmatic Solution Architect, a true all-rounder who can operate at the intersection of business, customers and technology. The ideal candidate combines the following key strengths: Strong solution architecture & integration expertise You have solid experience designing and challenging end-to-end technical solutions in complex enterprise environments. You are comfortable with topics such as: • APIs and system integrations • Data flows and data migration • Event-driven architectures • Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP • Configuration versus custom development trade-offs • Integration with complex customer IT ecosystems You are able to take ownership of architecture decisions and ensure they are properly implemented throughout the project. Strong technical orchestration skills You are able to maintain an end-to-end technical view while coordinating multiple contributors across Business Architecture, Project Management, Development, Product and Engineering. You bring structure to complex projects, identify technical risks early and ensure that everyone is moving toward a consistent and scalable solution. You are not simply coordinating technical teams: you are able to challenge decisions, make recommendations and act as the technical authority when needed . Excellent customer-facing & communication skills You are comfortable working directly with customers, including experienced IT teams and enterprise architects. You know how to: • lead technical workshops; • understand and challenge customer requirements; • explain complex technical topics clearly; • defend architecture choices; • influence and convince senior technical stakeholders. You can adapt your communication style depending on whether you are speaking with business stakeholders, developers, Product teams or customer architects. Business understanding You are able to understand the customer’s business context, not just their technical environment. You can quickly grasp business requirements and translate them into relevant technical decisions. Experience in the insurance industry is highly valued, with credit insurance experience being a strong plus . Comfortable in fast-moving and less structured environments You do not need every process, standard or responsibility to be fully defined before taking action. You are autonomous, resourceful and comfortable operating in an environment where both the product and the Professional Services organization are still evolving. You enjoy solving ambiguous problems and building the right approach as you go. Background You may come from: • a B2B SaaS or enterprise software vendor • a systems integrator or consulting company • a mid-sized or fast-growing technology company The exact number of years of experience is less important than your ability to combine technical depth, business understanding, customer communication and ownership . Previous experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Technical Project Manager, Technical Consultant or Senior Implementation Engineer can all be relevant if you have strong architecture exposure. Languages Fluent English is required, as you will work with international customers and stakeholders French is a plus
