Job Description

: We are looking for an experienced Head Manufacturing Operations to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across OTC, Womens Hygiene, and Beverage plants. The role will be responsible for driving production excellence, operational efficiency, capacity expansion, quality, EHS, cost optimization, and development of manufacturing capabilities. - Lead manufacturing operations across multiple plants, ensuring production output, productivity, yield, equipment efficiency, and adherence to delivery schedules. - Drive Operational Excellence initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement programs to improve OEE, reduce downtime, waste, and manufacturing costs. - Lead new facility setups, capacity expansion, automation initiatives, line installations, commissioning, and other major manufacturing projects. - Drive productivity improvement, process optimization, automation, and technology adoption across manufacturing operations. - Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory, GMP, HACCP, AYUSH, ISO, and EHS standards across manufacturing facilities. - Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, OEE, quality, yield, downtime, cost, safety, and delivery performance. - Own manufacturing OPEX and CAPEX planning and ensure effective utilization of resources and investments. - Work closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials while optimizing inventory levels. - Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functions to resolve operational issues and improve overall plant performance. - Lead and develop manufacturing, production, engineering, maintenance, and allied teams while building strong shop-floor capabilities. - Identify operational risks and implement robust systems, controls, and preventive measures to ensure business continuity and consistent manufacturing performance. - Drive a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and operational excellence. Required Candidate Profile: - 14 - 20 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 15+ years preferred, particularly in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Hygiene, Sanitary, Diaper, or related industries. - Proven experience in leading manufacturing operations across multiple plants or large-scale manufacturing facilities. - Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization. - Hands-on understanding of automated manufacturing machinery, PLC systems, packaging lines, calibration, and plant automation. - Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects, capacity expansion, line commissioning, and CAPEX management. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality systems, GMP, HACCP, AYUSH, ISO, and EHS requirements relevant to the business. - Working knowledge of SAP ERP, particularly Production Planning and Quality Management modules. - Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Proven ability to lead large teams and drive operational transformation across manufacturing environments.
