Job Description

Salary: £49,000 - 66,000 per year Requirements: • Experience working in a Scrum Team and Agile environment • Extensive background in front-end development with significant experience working with ReactJS • Experience with Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js is beneficial • Exposure to Python and contributing to the design, build, and support of scalable and secure full-stack web applications using FastAPI • Experience with unit testing using Jest • Experience with GraphQL with React for efficient data fetching and state management is preferred • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs to connect frontend applications with backend services • Exposure to integrating AI capabilities into applications using agent frameworks and MCP concepts • Experience writing high-quality code and carrying out peer code reviews • Experience managing code using Git and CI/CD pipelines • Ability to support and mentor team members to follow agreed standards and practices • Financial Services or Capital Markets experience is beneficial Responsibilities: • Work in a Scrum Team with cross-functional skills in tight collaboration and practise Agile • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Technical Architects, UX/UI Designers, and other team members to understand business requirements and drive solution design and development of our digital products • Support and enhance our clients AI-driven initiatives using React, Python, and Large Language Models (LLMs) • Follow software engineering best practices, including codebase security, testing, and scalability of AI systems • Turn requirements into technical solutions with business and technical stakeholders • Write high-quality code and carry out peer code reviews • Manage code using Git and CI/CD pipelines • Support and mentor team members to follow agreed standards and practices Technologies: • AI • AWS • Angular • Backend • CI/CD • FastAPI • Frontend • Git • GraphQL • Support • Jest • MCP • Oracle • OutSystems • Python • React • Security • Snowflake • Vue • Web • UX UI Design • Cloud • Embedded • JavaScript • Fullstack More: We are Version 1, with over 29 years in technology services and a trusted partner to global brands delivering solutions that drive customer success in a rapidly changing digital-first world.
