Full Stack Developer Java Ruby Angular

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: • Strong Java backend software development skills, including Spring Boot • Front end experience with JavaScript and Angular • Experience with relational databases and SQL query writing • Strong understanding of REST APIs, real-time systems, and CI/CD • Comfortable working with legacy Ruby • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and Agile development methodologies • Experience in start-ups or SMEs with a variety of responsibilities • Collaborative and pragmatic, with great communication skills • Happy to mentor and develop others • Degree educated in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a top-tier university Responsibilities: • Re-architect and enhance our scheduling platform to a Java and Angular codebase from Ruby and TypeScript • Work across backend and frontend projects in a 50/50 split • Design and develop scalable backend Java services and REST APIs • Write and optimise SQL database queries • Create user-friendly interfaces using Angular v15 • Input into technical discussions and decision-making as a senior member of our small team • Help influence best practice and technology choices Technologies: • AWS • Android • Angular • Architect • Backend • CI/CD • Frontend • Java • JavaScript • Mobile • REST • Ruby • SQL • Spring • Spring Boot • TypeScript • Web • iOS • Cloud • Fullstack More: We are a London-based company working on a tech-for-good product that helps drive efficiencies for the NHS.
