Job Description

I’m currently partnering with a tier-one global financial services firm looking for a Principal Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role where you will drive the evolution of their enterprise network and cloud ecosystems across the region. You won't just be maintaining legacy systems - you’ll be partnering with architecture teams to build out technology roadmaps, automate cloud infrastructure, and establish governance frameworks for regional deployment. The Role: • Infrastructure Design & Delivery: Lead the deployment and management of highly available enterprise networks (LAN/WAN) and modern, virtualized data center environments. • Cloud & Automation: Design and configure scalable cloud services, utilizing APIs to build custom automation and integrate cloud platforms with core enterprise systems. • Strategic Architecture: Work closely with enterprise architects to translate business requirements into scalable design patterns, technical roadmaps, and budgeting plans. • SME Escalation & Mentorship: Act as the ultimate L3 Subject Matter Expert for complex, in-flight infrastructure projects, ensuring robust handover to production and upskilling L1/L2 operational teams. • Governance & Security: Champion IT security standards, enforce strict compliance/patching policies, and drive continuous improvement across hardware and software lifecycles. What You Bring: • Extensive engineering background managing complex campus networks and data centers (core routing/switching, firewalls, load balancing, and network access control). • Deep expertise in cloud environment management, API-driven automation, and security guidelines. • Strong grasp of ITSM/ITIL frameworks with a focus on incident/change management and proactive problem resolution. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the gap between highly technical teams and non-IT business users. • Readiness to act as an escalation point for global, distributed operations when critical issues arise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
