About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Tbilisi. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking platforms through automated testing frameworks.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript. Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle. Implement and optimize test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster and more reliable releases.

Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers. Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage. Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices within the team.

Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile workflow.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in both manual and automated QA —you know how to break things and prevent bugs before they reach users. Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch , ideally using Playwright and TypeScript (or similar tools).

Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows . Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps (React Native experience a plus).
