Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team of around 1,700 people worldwide to help us power up the traveller's journey for millions of holidaymakers. The person, reporting to the HQ Team based in Switzerland, will contribute to the accounting closing of the legal entity recently created in Romania.

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

This role requires an autonomous professional with 3–4 years of experience who possesses the technical expertise to manage the full accounting cycle, from primary journal entries to the final preparation of a simple Annual Statutory Financial Statements.

The Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. The job in brief: Job Title - Accountant Working model - full-remote from Romania Team - you will join the Accountancy team within the Finance department.

What your impact will be: Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the companies, such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions Registration of passive invoice with AI tools Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and other GL accounts Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules Support month-end and year-end closing process Ensure compliance with GAAP principles, both local and Group ones Liaise with the Finance Manager to improve financial procedures Assure tax compliance and respect of tax deadlines Assist with tax audits and tax returns Interact with internal and external auditors.
