Job Description
JOB SUMMARY / JOB OVERVIEW: The Project Manager is responsible for managing and reviewing operations policies, standards and procedures related to project logistics.
He/She manages the relationships with the logistics operations managers and project logistics resources covering the areas of manpower, internal assets and external vendors. He/She ensures the management of resources and obtain buy-in among internal and external stakeholders.
He/She focuses on meeting project commitments, is assigned to lead or assist in the planning, implementation and introduction of projects for new systems involving the operations and logistics functions in the organisation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops strategic project plans aligned with business strategies Reviews business processes, improvements, and solutions to achieve project effectiveness Conducts research and data analyses to identify and describe business audiences related to assigned projects Manages new dish launches, new service/product launches, etc.
Does project planning, scheduling & execution Reviews the allocation of resources across different project-related business activities Assembles project staff, supervises their functional and technical development, performance and/or termination, if needed, during the project implementation Resolves or assists in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas Develops methods to monitor project or area progress Monitors and manages project budget and resource allocation Interacts regularly with project stakeholders to include existing and potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans to improve project delivery and goal achievement Undertakes continual adjustments with stakeholders and resources to keep projects on track Establishes team work among project staff, department staff involved, if needed, and other project stakeholders Recommends adjustments in project timing, costs, and other project resources to achieve qu
