Project Manager

Introduction • We are looking for a highly skilled and focused individual to join our online fulfilment delivery team. • The right individual will have experience of delivery of a wide portfolio of projects with varying complexity. They will be experienced in many delivery frameworks (agile, waterfall) and be able to glue these frameworks together to deliver exceptional quality – on time, and on budget. • These projects will touch multiple technical teams, business teams and customers. They will be high profile in nature and have senior sponsorship. Desired Experience & Qualification Full ownership of: • The delivery and execution of projects & initiatives from conceptualisation phase through to PIR phase and own delivery of the business case within budgeted time and cost • Delivering on scope as approved • Budgets and costs (CAPEX/OPEX) • Managing project risks through to resolution • Ensuring smooth delivery of project into operational spaces with zero impacts on stores / operational teams • Co-ordinating and managing a team of diverse stakeholders • Running and leading ops comms and steer comms • Producing regular reports and updates to EXCO members Accountable for: • Ensuring that the plan is continually updated and accountabilities, responsibilities, etc. are correctly allocated • Compliance with the company’s Project Manager methodology • Quality of all deliverables • Report on project status internally • Co-ordinate activities between business and technical teams • Including • IT & product • Change management and training • 3rd party partners • Stores • Detail business and technical team member roles and expectations • Ensure appropriate project closure and facilitate business hand-over (including PIR) • Understand and manage key stakeholders’ expectations relative to project execution Additional responsibilities: • Provide input to into one-year operating plan and projects priority plan in line with strategy and relevant business requirements Key Competencies Experience: • Proven project management experience • Clear evidence of delivery of complex – cross functional projects • Ability to blend multiple teams with different delivery frameworks • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in senior governance forums • Strong reporting and presentation skills • Ability to multi-task and manage various projects / work streams simultaneously Personality requirements: • A leader • Strategic thinker • Delivery focus and mentality • Highly detailed • Collaborative • Analytical • Problem solver • Strong relationship management skills • Agility Job Requirements: • Degree / diploma • Proven delivery within agile and waterfall methodologies • Relevant business knowledge • 5+ years relevant Project Management experience Advantageous: • Proven delivery in an online fulfilment / operational space • Online fulfilment (stores and dark stores) • Last mile fulfilment Additional Requirements • Able to travel Kindly regard your application as unsuccessful if you have not heard from the agency within 2 weeks.
