Our role Purpose
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager the medical healthcare team within Technology Health Services. This is a 12-month parental leave fixed term contract. This role is responsible for leading transformation projects associated with newly acquired medical centres, managing the full lifecycle from acquisition and due diligence through to operational handover into Business as Usual (BAU) support.
The position sits at the centre of multiple workstreams, coordinating technology, property, operational, security, and vendor activities to ensure newly acquired centres are successfully integrated into the organisation's environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end transformation projects for acquired medical centres.
• Participate in acquisition due diligence activities, including coordinating technology and security assessments.
• Review assessment findings and provide input to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Manage post-acquisition integration activities, including:
• Network and infrastructure upgrades
• Hardware deployment and replacement
• Security remediation and compliance activities
• Software provisioning and implementation
• Data migration projects where required
• Vendor transition and management
This is a busy and fast-moving role. You’ll be expected to contribute quickly and take ownership of active projects from the outset, with support from the broader project team during onboarding.
What you’ll need to make it possible
• Proven experience leading technology transformation and integration projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor management skills.
• Experience working across infrastructure, networking, applications, security, and operational teams.
• A practical approach to project governance, risk, and issue management.
• The ability to work independently and deliver outcomes quickly in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in healthcare, medical centres, acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale operational transformations would be highly regarded.
