Engineering Lead - Full Stack Development

Role Overview: As an Engineering Lead, you will spearhead the technical evolution of our learning management systems and student-facing platforms. You will operate at the intersection of architecture and execution, leading a high-performing team to build scalable, secure, and intuitive web applications. This role involves close collaboration with product stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality code, ensuring that our digital infrastructure remains resilient as we scale our user base. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of features, maintaining code excellence, and fostering a culture of technical rigor within a remote-first environment. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop end-to-end full-stack solutions using NestJS and React.js to ensure seamless user experiences across our educational platforms. - Manage database schemas and complex data relationships using Prisma and PostgreSQL to optimize application performance and data integrity. - Lead the migration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure to ensure high availability and cost-efficiency for our global user base. - Implement containerization strategies using Docker to streamline deployment pipelines and ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments. - Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance to elevate the overall engineering standards of the team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps that align with the companys long-term product vision and growth objectives. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling production-grade applications using TypeScript, NestJS, and Next.js. - Proven ability to design efficient database architectures and write complex queries within PostgreSQL using Prisma ORM. - Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, specifically deploying and scaling services on AWS or Azure platforms. - Experience in containerizing applications with Docker and managing CI/CD workflows to accelerate release cycles. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead remote teams effectively. - A minimum of 6 to 7 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a track record of taking ownership of complex technical projects. - Ability to thrive in a remote-first work culture, demonstrating high levels of self-motivation, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.
