Full Stack Developer

Senior Full Stack Developer Permanent Sydney $150-180k Our client is a well-established financial services organisation with a modern, cloud-native technology platform. They're growing their engineering team and looking for someone who cares as much about the team around them as the code they ship. They're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join permanently, taking a leading technical role across their TypeScript/React and Node.js/GraphQL stack, hosted on AWS, and helping shape both delivery practice and team culture. Key responsibilities: • Lead design and delivery of complex features across a React/TypeScript front end and Node.js/GraphQL back end • Contribute to technical architecture decisions for a cloud-native (AWS) platform • Build and maintain integrations with internal platforms and third-party providers • Champion engineering best practice: automated testing, CI/CD, observability, agile/Scrum delivery • Mentor other engineers and help foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture • Partner with product, design and engineering leadership to balance BAU and greenfield project work • Ensure solutions meet security, risk and compliance standards appropriate to a regulated financial services environment About you: • 6+ years' commercial full stack development experience • Deep expertise in TypeScript and React • Strong Node.js experience, including GraphQL API design • Solid AWS experience; AWS certification well regarded • Experience with automated testing practices and agile/Scrum delivery • Proven experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a collaborative team culture, not just individual delivery • Financial services or fintech background strongly preferred If interested, please send your CV
