Oracle - Senior Software Developer - Java/Python

As a Senior Application Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building cutting edge AI-first Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong full stack technical skillset, AI accelerated development expertise and have experience with frontend development, Java service development, and public cloud providers. Career Level : IC3 Qualification: - Bachelors degree in computer science - 4-6 years of professional software development experience - Expertise in AI assisted development and applying engineering judgement. - Expertise in Java or Python development. - Micronaut service development framework experience is plus. - Experience deploying services on Kubernetes. - Experience with continuous integration and automated testing. - Strong REST API design skills. - Full stack development experience building on public cloud providers. Key Responsibilities : - Architect and implement scalable microservices to enhance the functionality and modularity of Oracle's cloud-based applications. - Optimize backend performance by applying advanced knowledge of multithreading and concurrency to ensure high throughput for data-intensive operations. - Design and expose secure, efficient RESTful web services to facilitate seamless integration between internal systems and external client platforms. - Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers to maintain high engineering standards and code quality. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues by performing deep-dive analysis into system bottlenecks and data structure inefficiencies.
