As the Site Director of Suzano, São Paulo - Brazil, you will oversee all manufacturing and related support activities at the Suzano site. You will ensure that production meets customer demand while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, cost-efficiency, and environmental compliance. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a strong operational mindset, people leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Main responsibilities:_- Lead and manage all site operations, including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and support functions.- Ensure the site delivers _safety & quality standards, service_, cost and cash targets in alignment with business objectives.- Guarantee compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to Safety, Hygiene, Security, and Environment (HSE).- Develop and implement the annual investment plan, including capital expenditures and labor cost optimization.- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement.- Represent the site in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and corporate reviews.- Collaborate with global and regional teams to align site strategy with broader business goals.- Member of the country extended leadership team, contributing to the local business strategy.
- About you:_- Graduate degree in Engineering, Science or related areas. Advanced degree is a plus.- Proven experience in industrial site leadership, preferably in the consumer healthcare sector, FMCG companies.- Strong knowledge of GMP, HSE regulations, TPM and manufacturing best practices.- Proven experience in employee relations, fostering a positive work environment that drives engagement, collaboration, and high-performing teams- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex operations.- Inclusive and inspiring leader with a proven track record of driving cultural and operational transformations, as well as leading successful turnarounds- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.- Experienced in navigating complex matrix organizations and operating effectively in an international environment- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
