More about your role
We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing workstream across some of the most exciting and strategically important investments and projects within Places Leisure.
This is a varied, fast paced role where no two days are the same. From new centre openings and major refurbishments to contract mobilisations, agency transitions, product launches and business transformation initiatives, you'll play a key role in shaping how we engage customers, communities, clients and colleagues across our network of 100 leisure centres.
Working as the lead marketing partner across multiple projects, you'll create and deliver integrated marketing and communications plans that drive commercial performance, support customer retention and maximise return on investment. You'll collaborate with operational leaders, project teams, clients and specialist marketing teams to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly, consistently and in line with business objectives.
This is a highly visible opportunity to influence strategic decision making, champion innovative marketing approaches and make a real impact on the continued growth and transformation of Places Leisure and the communities we serve.
This is a 12 month FTC role.
Essential Criteria
• Previous experience working in a physical locations multisite environment within hospitality, retail or leisure sector.
• Experience leading complex marketing, communications or transformation programmes.
• Experience managing high volume multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Previous line management experience
• Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders across operational, commercial and client-facing environments.
• Experience using data, insights and performance reporting to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
Desirable
• Familiarity with project management and planning tools such as monday.com and Microsoft Project.
• Experience supporting mobilisations, demobilisations, centre openings, refurbishments or business transformation programmes.

You're an experienced marketing professional with a strong track record of delivering complex marketing, communications, transformation and change programmes. You thrive in a fast paced environment, confidently managing multiple projects while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across operational, commercial and client facing teams.
Combining strategic thinking with excellent project delivery skills, you're able to turn ambitious plans into successful outcomes. You'll proactively manage priorities, navigate challenges and keep teams aligned to ensure projects stay on track and deliver real business value. Using data, insight and performance metrics, you'll continually identify opportunities to improve results and enhance customer experiences.
A natural collaborator, you'll bring together specialists across digital, CRM, creative, content, PR and social media to deliver integrated campaigns that engage audiences, support business objectives and create lasting impact throughout every stage of a project.
