Job Description
This is a remote position. The Junior Designer will support UX/UI design activities including wireframes, UI layouts, design updates, and visual asset creation. This role is ideal for early-career designers looking to build strong foundations in product design, user experience, and design systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Create wireframes, mockups, and basic prototypes under guidance. Support improvements to existing product designs. Work with senior designers to translate requirements into visuals. Maintain consistency in design assets and components.
Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions. Collaborate with product and engineering teams. Learn and apply UX/UI best practices and design standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or related field.
3-5 years of experience (internships, bootcamps, or personal projects included). Basic understanding of UX/UI principles. Portfolio showcasing design work (school, personal, or freelance projects). Willingness to learn and take feedback. Strong attention to detail and creativity. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Skills Design Tools: Basic proficiency in Figma Wireframing & Prototyping (basic level) Understanding of UI principles (spacing, typography, color) Basic knowledge of user experience concepts Familiarity with design systems (intro level) Collaboration tools (e. g.
