Job Description
:-Role SummaryWe are looking for a mid-level SAP ABAP Consultant (3–6 years experience) who has strong ABAP fundamentals and is willing to learn and deliver on SAP Product & REACH Compliance (PRC) implementations.
The role involves technical development, customization, integration, and support of SAP systems with a strong focus on compliance, manufacturing, and IMDS integration. Key Responsibilities1.
Core ABAP DevelopmentDesign, develop, and enhance ABAP objects (RICEF) including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ABAP solutionsPerform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization2.
SAP PRC (Product Compliance) EnablementUnderstand and support SAP Product & REACH Compliance (PRC) landscape and processes Work on: PRC customization and enhancements Integration with IMDS (International Material Data System)3.
Integration & Data HandlingDevelop and support integrations using: IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web ServicesWork with: BOM structures and material data Data transfer between SAP ECC/S4 and PRC module4. Testing & SupportPerform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution5.
Collaboration & DeliveryWork closely with: Functional consultants Business stakeholders Manufacturing / supply chain teamsCoordinate releases, deployments, and issue resolution across teamsRequired SkillsTechnicalStrong ABAP programming (Core + OOP)Experience with: RICEF objects Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits) Debugging & performance tuningExposure to SAP modules (any of): MM / SD / PP / FIFunctional / DomainFhanaBasic understanding or willingness to learn: SAP PRC / Product Compliance / REACH IMDS integration Manufacturing / automotive processesKnowledge of BOM, material data, and production processesSoft SkillsStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to work in cross-functional teamsProactive learner (critical for PRC ramp-up)QualificationsBachelor’s degree (Computer Science / IT / Mechanical / Production) 4–6 years of SAP ABAP experienceNice-to-HaveExposure to: SAP S/4HANA SAP PRC / EHS / Compliance modules Automotive domain (strong advantage)
